— The obvious starting point for this project was a visit to the showroom itself – a time capsule of clothing displays accompanied by vintage books, magazines, watches, suitcases and more. This visual treasure trove provided endless reference points for the book’s typography, colour and feel, which we distilled to make considered design choices. Dynamic image crops and close details gave a much-needed visual pace throughout the 300 pages. And the finishing touch was a tactile label detail for the title, delivering a valuable reference for fashion designers and enthusiasts alike.
