— The Royal Institute of British Architects champions better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and it’s members. This publication, documenting former president Stephen Hodder’s flagship RIBA Clients initiative, highlights the need for British architectural practices to grasp opportunities with clients on a national and international scale to follow this mission. To aid this, the report helps readers find the keys to unlocking those opportunities by developing the essential relationship between client and architect. We came up with a bold and simple graphic representation of this for the cover, offering the reader a little more than the obvious representation. Inside we were briefed to keep the typography and grid within the RIBA Journal system, but vary it enough to give the report its own look and feel. In doing so we delivered a simple and familiar yet refreshing look for the reader.
